Some Democrats in Washington believe the only changes we can get are tweaks and nudges. If they dream at all, they dream small. Some say if we all just calm down, the Republicans will come to their senses.

But our country is in a time of crisis. The time for small ideas is over.

Big problems call for big solutions. If we are going to save our democracy, build an economy that works for everyone, and clean up the corruption in Washington, we need big, structural changes.

And yes, I have a plan for that.

It starts with you and me rolling up our sleeves and being a part of this fight — side by side. We can’t build our movement without grassroots donors like you. Can you chip in right now to say you’re in this fight all the way?

When I’m president, we will…
  • Pass the biggest anti-corruption plan since Watergate
  • Break up big ag, big banks, and big tech
  • Make it easier for workers to join a union
  • Pass a wealth tax, and use a big hunk of that money for Universal Child care and early education, free public college, at least $50 billion in a fund for Historically Black Colleges and Universities, and cancelling student loan debt for 95% of people carrying it
When I lead the Democratic Party, we will not be a party that nibbles around the edges. Our Democratic Party will be a party of bold, structural change.

But bold, structural change doesn’t happen on its own. We dream big and we fight hard. Because the rich and powerful aren’t giving up anything without a fight.

Millions of grassroots Democrats are ready to fight — in Arkansas and across the country.

But when it gets hard, when there’s a lot on the line, too many powerful people in our party say settle down, back up, there’s nothing to be angry about.

Here’s the thing: When a candidate tells you about all the things that aren’t possible, about how political calculations come first, about how you should settle for little bits and pieces instead of real change, they’re telling you something very important: they are telling you that they will not fight for you.

Not me. I’m here to fight.

When I lead the Democratic Party, we will be a party of moral clarity, a party of courage, and a party with backbone.

Big Pharma is getting rich by spreading a plague among our people. Friend -- I'm the national training director at Obama for America. My job is to develop the programs and resources our staff and volunteers use to teach others how to grow this campaign in their communities. I'm writing because you or someone you know might want to be among a group of people who will play the leading role in our grassroots strategy this fall. They're called our fall fellows. By now you've probably heard of our summer organizers program, through which more than 1,500 full-time volunteer organizers have stepped up as the next generation of leaders in this movement. These folks have been the focus and the heart of our movement all summer, and though each and every one of them will remain a part of this organization, their time as Summer Organizers ends next month. The job of fall fellows is to pick their work up and carry it forward into the months to come. Our fall fellows are going to engage new volunteers on front porches and over the phones.
