•   Failed Democrat Presidential candidate Howard Dean claims that outgoing Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid saved the U.S. Constitution from the “crack pot wing and Speaker Boehner’s Tea Party Caucus” by refusing to even allow a debate on 400 different bills passed by the House of Representatives last year. It seems the American people had a different view on Election Day. •   The hosts of MSNBC’s pro-big government show “Morning Joe” during a discussion of Hillary Clinton’s inevitable Presidential campaign couldn’t come up with a reason the failed former Secretary of State should run for the highest office in the land. “At this moment, beyond ‘it’s her turn, it’s her time,’ there’s not a clear articulated rationale for the candidacy as of yet,” Bloomberg’s John Heilemann said. •   A new poll out reports that the American people overwhelmingly want Republicans in Congress and NOT Barack Obama to set the agenda in Washington. Congressional Republicans need to understand this and act boldly to save this country. Robert -- Hate Senate Republicans' reckless use of the filibuster? Time to do something about it. Next Tuesday -- five days from today -- the Senate will vote on seven Obama appointees the Republicans have blocked, including Richard Cordray as head of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. If Republicans refuse to end their obstruction, Senator Harry Reid has promised to "go nuclear"  and move to eliminate the filibuster for administration appointees. Dear  robert , Recently I was named to the select committee to investigate the alleged sale of fetal body parts by Planned Parenthood.  I recognize this as a great responsibility, and believe this needs to be a fair, non-partisan look into possible illegal activity conducted in the organization.   The recent horrific videos that have been released must be investigated.  We as Americans deserve to know the full truth behind what has been released. Are we coming out to participate in primaries and local elections? And are we making sure that our most fundamental right is accessible to every eligible voter? This week, I've been traveling abroad, talking to people about how our countries have grown and changed over the last few years. I was so proud to be able to share with folks here that Conor Lamb won his race on Tuesday, thanks to the hard work of organizers and volunteers in the 18th district of Pennsylvania who made their voices heard. But in Pennsylvania and across the country, access to the ballot box is obstructed by one unnecessary measure or another.
