Dear robert,
Back in February, we launched a search for the best BBQ sauces to become the official sauces of the 2012 Democratic National Convention. We were looking for the best sauce in three different categories that represent the different regions of the Carolinas – a western North Carolina tomato-based sauce, an eastern North Carolina vinegar-based sauce, and a South Carolina mustard-based sauce.
We were excited to receive 30 different sauce submissions from around the country. The sauces ranged from homemade to nationally recognized brands.
After the sauce submission deadline, we gathered a group of qualified BBQ judges – including myself – to help us pick a winner in each category.

Robert, Conservatives have a tough road ahead in 2016. We’re going up against the Big Government Labor Bosses, Hollywood liberals, and big-government cronies. While a lot of groups claim they help elect conservatives, none come close to the size, scope, and success of the Republican National Committee (RNC) –  the Official Committee in Charge of Taking Back the White House. Only the RNC has what it takes to fight the Obama-Clinton Machine head-on. Jeanne: a woman’s constitutional right to make her own health care decisions

Robert – In less than three months, the Supreme Court will hear a case that could undermine  Roe v. Wade  and set women’s health back decades. If the Court rules the wrong way, it could force the only clinic in west Texas to close and open the floodgates for even more extreme anti-abortion regulations designed to keep women from accessing a legal medical procedure. Republicans have been chipping away at a woman’s constitutional right to make her own health care decisions for YEARS, but this case is the biggest threat to the right to choose we’ve ever faced.  We need to speak out together  now , before the Supreme Court guts abortion rights. My black history was not white enough for the University of Arkansas at Fort Smith.

 It's me the President of the Black Independent Party. Robert  Gilyard.  First black man to get a law degree from the University of Arkansas at Fort Smith in 2007. The first class that graduated from the college.. I am black history in Fort Smith Arkansas. But the whites at the University of Arkansas is bringing their own form of black people to represent our city and they're supposed to be representations of black folks from our city. How can I respect my Alumni when I see the same issues that were there when I was a student. These black folks don't do nothing but go to a college. Then go home. They ignore us. Friends, When it comes to taking a position on any bill, Floridians know my promise: I will listen to them, I will listen to my conscience, and I will deeply study what’s on my desk before making a decision. The past few weeks, the proposal on my desk has been the nuclear deal with Iran. I have to say, this has been the toughest decision of my career in Congress. After listening to arguments on both sides, carefully reviewing all the materials, and soliciting answers from both supporters and opponents, I have reached a decision. A nuclear Iran would be an unacceptable threat to America and Israel. As a nation, we must always keep all options on the table. Robert, I knew quite a bit about Kay before I joined the campaign. At least I thought I did. You and I both know she’s a fierce advocate for improving education, supporting our veterans, servicemembers and their families, and ensuring that all North Carolinians have access to health care. But as I just learned over dinner with Kay and Chip, she’s full of surprises. Chuck: Senator Marco Rubio has taken a U-turn

Robert, It's official: Senator Marco Rubio has taken a U-turn and decided that he will run for the Senate once again in 2016. Throughout this past year, Senator Rubio has said time and time again that he had no interest in working for Florida residents in the Senate any longer. He promised over and over that he was done with Congress and that he wouldn't return. I have to say it -- I was ready to say goodbye to Senator Rubio. And since his announcement yesterday, I'm more confident than ever. Senator Rubio may have just decided he wants to represent Florida again, but he's going to meet his match in my friend Patrick Murphy. Since he was elected in 2012, Patrick's dedication to serving the people of Florida has never wavered, and I truly believe that if he takes Florida, we'll turn the Senate blue in 2016. Borris: I continue the fight for criminal justice reform

Recidivism is the rate in which ex-offenders relapse into criminal activities.  The National Statistic on Recidivsm shows that within 3 years of release 67.8% of released prisoners were re-arrested, and within 5 years of release the rearrest rate rose to 76.7%.  In the state of Texas, our recidivism rate is 22.6%. Incarceration weakens communities and tears apart families.   Unfortunately, many ex-offenders who served their time and have proven that they are ready to begin a new life find it extremely difficult to find a job or access to education because of their past.  By providing education to prisoners it makes them 43% less likely to repeat criminal acts.  As a sponsor of  HB 553 ,  we now have a task force set in place  to better assess and determine  certification programs,  i ndustry recognizable credentials , and  school credits  to inmates.  By supporting me today, we can tackle issue...
