Dear robert,
Back in February, we launched a search for the best BBQ sauces to become the official sauces of the 2012 Democratic National Convention. We were looking for the best sauce in three different categories that represent the different regions of the Carolinas – a western North Carolina tomato-based sauce, an eastern North Carolina vinegar-based sauce, and a South Carolina mustard-based sauce.
We were excited to receive 30 different sauce submissions from around the country. The sauces ranged from homemade to nationally recognized brands.
After the sauce submission deadline, we gathered a group of qualified BBQ judges – including myself – to help us pick a winner in each category.

This contest in the Show Me State might be the dark-horse contest to watch. --  NPR , 5/2/2016 Friends, “Dark horse.” “Sleeping giant.” The press is running out of metaphors to describe how tight this race has become. Of course, there are more good ones. Like “photo finish”, as in how close this race could be come Election Day --  especially now that Donald Trump is at the top of the Republican ticket for president. Or “buried in mud,” as in what Super PACs and special interests hope to do to me before November. Or “work to the bone,”  which is what we’re going to do to hit our $55,000 goal -- and every other goal we have -- in order to keep fighting and win this thing. Robert - I want to talk about what we did  last night : after starting in the polls in Wisconsin down more than 40 points, we finished the election with a HUGE margin of victory. We're also going to come away with a strong majority of the delegates. We are on the path to the Democratic nomination for president. But I want to be clear:  super PACs and the billionaire class want to block that path in the New York primary. We very much expect an unbelievable amount of attacks and negativity over the  next two weeks .  But I also expect that if we all stand together, starting right now, we can come out of New York with another victory. Barack: Obama Presidential Center is coming...

Dear friends,  When Michelle and I first began thinking about what the Obama Presidential Center could be, one thing was clear to us both: We didn't want to build only a monument to the past—we wanted to build a Center for the future. We hoped to create a place that would nurture and inspire the young people who walked its halls and played in its parks. A place that would invigorate the community that gave us so much. A place that could anchor Chicago as a destination for anyone who wanted to make a difference.  That's why what happened this week is such a big victory. After a thorough review, a judge dismissed a lawsuit against the City of Chicago that sought to prevent the construction of the Obama Presidential Center in Jackson Park. My black history was not white enough for the University of Arkansas at Fort Smith.

 It's me the President of the Black Independent Party. Robert  Gilyard.  First black man to get a law degree from the University of Arkansas at Fort Smith in 2007. The first class that graduated from the college.. I am black history in Fort Smith Arkansas. But the whites at the University of Arkansas is bringing their own form of black people to represent our city and they're supposed to be representations of black folks from our city. How can I respect my Alumni when I see the same issues that were there when I was a student. These black folks don't do nothing but go to a college. Then go home. They ignore us. But they are the white people's favorite. Now we have to listen another year and watch them applaud them people that don't give a fuk about us. Because that's how black folks are in this area.
