Robert, Hillary Clinton gave an economic speech on Monday—where she basically promised to change little, help no one, and fix nothing if she becomes President of the United States. Instead, Hillary wants to offer you and me more of the same: more of the same lousy liberal "solutions" that have been failing the American people for the past 8 years. You know what they say: insanity is doing the same thing over and over, and expecting different results.  So I think it's safe to say that Hillary's plan to continue the failed economic policies of Barack Obama is, by that definition, insane. After 8 years of Obama, nearly 100 million Americans don't have jobs. Millions more Americans are collecting welfare from the government. And, for years, we've seen more small businesses close their doors than open them. Jon: Let it go to waste

robert - President Obama is right: many of the same voices urging the United States to reject the deal with Iran in favor of a military approach were some of the loudest voices in favor of war with Iraq. Congress is home for recess now, and we need to make sure they hear your voice before returning to D.C. to take a vote. So far over 100,000 veterans, military family members, and VoteVets supporters have taken action on this issue - add your name to theirs today:  Tell Congress: vote for the negotiated deal that is our best chance to prevent Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon The vote can go either way at this point so every Representative and every Senator that comes out in favor of the deal is a major victory. Robert, This morning, Marcelle and I were proud to see how many Vermonters travelled all the way to Washington to participate in the Women’s March on Washington. And we were so pleased to see so many gather for a similar march in Montpelier this afternoon. It was an honor to join together with many thousands of women and men gathered to proclaim loudly that women’s rights are human rights -- and to make a strong statement a day after the inauguration of Donald Trump. By coming together today, Americans of all gender identities, races, faiths, sexual orientations, and immigration statuses sent a powerful message that we will continue fighting for women's rights, to protect our communities, and for progress on the issues that matter. Friend -- February was the best month ever for our campaign—we received donations from 34,025 different people for a total of $570,954.82!  The average donation was $16.78.  That’s incredible.  THANK YOU for making it happen.  We raised as much as many other major candidates for the month.   Aside from the raw numbers, which are staggering, here’s another reason I am excited.  I received this message hundreds of times via social media:  “You are the first political candidate I have ever donated to.”   This message is important.  It’s become a constant drumbeat.  And it means that we are poised to do great things. I had a meeting last week with a social psychology professor named Jonathan Haidt.  He wrote a book called  The Righteous Mind: Why Good People Are Divided by Politics and Religion .  He also worked on a report called Hidden Tribes that came out recently. ...
