You and I fought long and hard to get Elizabeth Warren elected Senator in Massachusetts. 
But before she is even sworn in as Senator, Wall Street lobbyists and Far-Right Conservatives are fighting tooth-and-nail to keep her off the Senate Banking Committee! 
And while she is just coming off a campaign where the Republican Party and their Far-Right Allies attacked her daily for over a year, now Wall Street Bankers are doing the same thing!  It’s because they are scared she is going to be fair -- simple as that.
Please sign our Petition to Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, telling him to stand his ground and make sure Elizabeth Warren is appointed to the Banking Committee where we need her to be.
As an American bankruptcy law expert, she is perfect to serve on this committee.
She helped to establish the U.S. Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, which made her an enemy of Wall Street – and that’s why they are fighting to keep her off the Banking Committee.
She needs and deserves our support.
So please sign our petition to Majority Leader Reid today!  We can’t allow Wall Street to determine who gets on what committee – especially the Senate Banking Committee.

These bills are a clear attack on a woman's right to affordable, quality health care. Robert -- Something big happened in the Senate this week: The Judiciary Committee voted to move forward on a bill that would make universal background checks the law for all gun sales. That's hugely important for one simple reason: If Congress goes on to pass this bill, fewer dangerous people will be able to obtain guns. Period. It should be a no-brainer. This is something that 92 percent of Americans -- and a whopping 74 percent of NRA members -- support. So let's get this done.
