I was just in Colorado and Iowa with Mark Udall and Bruce Braley over the weekend, and let me tell you: The people there are fighting their hearts out.
We all have to do absolutely the same if we want to keep the majority in the Senate.
I know you're probably getting a TON of emails right now from tight campaigns all across the country (I am too.) But I wanted to recommend three of the closest tossup Senate races in the country -- three campaigns where every dollar could make a difference:
All three of them are getting slammed by vicious attack ads from powerful Super PACs. Republicans know that if we lose Iowa, Alaska, and Colorado two weeks from now, our chances of keeping the Democratic majority in the Senate are slim.
I don't agree with Mark, Bruce, and Mark on every issue -- but we all agree that we need to put working families before millionaires and billionaires. It's about who we are as a people, and what kind of country we want to be.
And we all agree that the place to start fighting for America's middle class is by protecting the Democratic majority in the Senate.

But that’s exactly what my opponent, Congressman Tom Cotton, and his reckless colleagues are out to do. The only farm bill they’ll pass cuts $40 billion from food assistance, forcing groups like children, active-duty service members and even veterans who’ve bravely served this nation to go hungry. As one Arkansas official at a food pantry put it, this “just can’t happen.” The cuts are cruel and senseless. We’ve got to speak out now and stop Rep. Rob: we’re tired of waiting

Robert L., That’s how long we’ve been waiting for a real transportation bill. Congress has passed 33 short-term extensions of federal highway and transit funding over the past six years. That’s inexcusable. With federal transportation funding set to run out in a matter of days, the House and Senate are nowhere close to agreement on how to end the gridlock, putting us right back in the same position we were in barely two months ago. Tweet at Senate Majority Leader McConnell and House Speaker Boehner and tell them we’re tired of waiting. We need long-term transportation investments that will create jobs and economic growth now. Colleen: a grand jury has indicted two of the videos’ creators.

Friend, Republicans can’t resist putting women’s private medical decisions front-and-center in our national discourse. So when they saw a deceptively edited Planned Parenthood video last September, we all could have predicted what would happen. Republicans used those videos to justify attempts to withhold Planned Parenthood’s funding and tie up budget talks.  They almost brought our government to a screeching halt. Now, after clearing Planned Parenthood of any wrongdoing,  a grand jury has indicted two of the videos’ creators. They’re facing misdemeanor and felony charges. I’m fighting to get to Congress to protect women’s access to healthcare against extremists who will stop at nothing to take it away. Can you help me get there by giving $5 or $10? That means protecting our Democratic majority will come down to taking full advantage of every single opportunity that presents itself. Dear Friend, I’m just back from the Green Party Annual National Meeting in Newark, NJ, where I endorsed powerhouse Seth Kaper-Dale in his run for Governor.  As one of only two governor races this year, Seth's run in  2017’s biggest election  is a breakthrough moment for Greens everywhere.  The “Sopranos” state’s 2-party mafia is strong-arming Seth into raising $430,000 by August 31st in order to get in to the debates and to receive matching funds. That’s more than four times the $100,000 I had to raise to qualify for federal matching funds in my run for president! It's no wonder they're trying to keep Seth's formidable voice out of the debates. If this giant of social justice is heard, politics will never be the same - and not just in New Jersey.
