Patrick: If it's what you say I love it

Robert,
Donald Trump Jr.'s emails released yesterday are explicit. The president's son was offered a meeting with a Russian lawyer for information that "would incriminate Hillary" as part of "Russia and its government's support for Mr. Trump."
Trump Jr. responded: "If it's what you say I love it"
Paul Manafort, then President Trump's campaign chairman, and Jared Kushner, Trump's son-in-law and Senior White House Adviser, joined Trump Jr. for the meeting.
This news is deeply disturbing, and only the latest in a series of shifting denials, changed stories, and cascading lies around members of the Trump campaign and administration's contacts with Russia.
We all know that the Trump campaign was led by zealots who would stop at nothing to get Trump elected. But it's still shocking to see the actual Trump Jr. emails, and that they would go so far as to knowingly work with an enemy of the United States to influence the election.
A foreign adversary manipulated our elections and undermined our democracy. We must learn exactly what happened so those in the Trump campaign who were involved are identified and held accountable if they broke any laws. It is imperative that Special Counsel Mueller and Congress get to the bottom of Russia's interference.

What is 4th of July to Fort Smith Arkansas. When we still have Confederate monuments downtown. Where they have annual bike rallies in which they sell Confederate flags. When Confederates put flags on their trucks and intimidate our children up and down our streets. When Confederate flags wave through the neighborhoods of our children that are walking home from school. Where their dogs are barking at our children to harrass and terrorized them until  they cannot move and we as adults have to stand and tell them that everything is okay. Donald Trump keeps putting himself first and America last. Even as cases of COVID-19 skyrocket in states across the country, this president continues to host in-person fundraisers to pad his reelection war chest and fund dishonest ads -- including planning to return back to Florida, which is currently battling a sharp increase in cases -- at the end of the month. It’s irresponsible and reckless that Trump is ignoring public health experts and carrying on with his in-person fundraising events, but it's clear there's no level he won't sink to in an attempt to stop Democrats from chipping away at the RNC's cash-on-hand advantage.
