Robert, There would be no Marilyn Mosby without Kamala Harris. When I won state’s attorney, Kamala was my inspiration – and now she’s the Vice President of the United States of America. We are at a critical moment; the precipice of equality and unity, yet hostage to our nation’s history. There is opportunity in our future that we must demand. Progress requires progressive leadership. Progress requires effort. I’m putting in the work, and right now I’m asking for your help. While Kamala’s ascension is proof of progress, it is also a reminder of how much further we have to go. I am taking on a field dominated by white men. My policies and actions are dictated by a vision of equality and protection for ALL members of our community. Which is why I’m perceived as a threat to those who’ve had it all along. The establishment is trying to take away my power, and right now I’m asking you to embolden it. I need to raise more money than I did the first time.
