Four years ago, none of us imagined the 2016 election would go the way it did. We never imagined Donald Trump would be elected president.
We never imagined that a President of the United States would spend A LOT of time personally attacking me for doing my job and holding him accountable.
Over the last four years, I’ve “earned” a lot of nicknames from Trump:
Little
Shifty
Liddle
Sick Puppy
Pencil Neck
Shifty Schiff
Adam Schitt
Leakin' monster of no control
Watermelon head
Though I can shake off these childish school-yard insults, I refuse to look past or accept the immense damage Trump has done to our democracy.
He’s attacked the freedom of the press, welcomed foreign influence in our elections, locked kids in cages, refused to denounce white supermacist groups, talked about locking up his political opponents (including me), made horrible racist and sexist comments, violated the Emoluments Clause more times than I can count by using the presidency to enrich himself and his family, downplayed a deadly pandemic, and lied to the American people. Repeatedly.
We can’t afford another four years, we simply can’t.
Let’s put an end to this president’s dangerous agenda and divisive rhetoric once and for all this coming Tuesday, November 3rd. Please, pitch in $10 or whatever you can afford before tomorrow’s final end-of-month fundraising deadline of this campaign.
