I'll just be blunt: Tonight's our last grassroots fundraising deadline of the election, and it would make a real difference if you're able to chip in.

In the next few days, we're pitching in to support Warren Democrats in competitive races across the country. It's all powered by grassroots donors, and we need to hit our last goal by midnight tonight. But we're not quite there yet.

I'm only asking because it is powerfully important:

If you can, please make a donation of $2 or whatever makes sense before midnight tonight — the final grassroots fundraising deadline of this election — to support Warren Democrats and help turn the page on this dark chapter in our nation's history.

I'm in this fight all the way because I am dog-tired of hearing from Donald Trump and his Republican enablers. I am tired of leaders driving our country into the ground.

So I've endorsed some new voices — 150 candidates around the country who believe that government can be a powerful force for good. Who believe that we can make progress on our toughest challenges if competence and moral clarity rule the day. Who can help take back the Senate, protect our House majority, and work at every level of government to put people first.

Just imagine a Senate where Mitch McConnell doesn't kill all progress. That Democratic Senate is within our reach. We also have a chance to take back key state houses from Republican control, so we can stop voter suppression and gerrymandering.

By fighting side by side, we can realize the America of our best imaginations. And remember, the next step begins when our election ends: our grassroots movement must continue to push those in power to pass the big, structural change that we're voting for.

It's an honor to be in this fight with you. We can win this — but only if we stay in this fight all the way. We've got to keep pushing, and that's only possible with the support of grassroots donors like you.

Robert --  Another busy week of campaigning has passed, and we continue to move forward, meeting new people and attacting new volunteers to our efforts. Around the District On Tuesday night I was honored to be the guest of Bloomington Alderman Kevin Lower at a town hall meeting he hosted in Ward 1. Kevin’s dedication to speaking with and directly engaging his constituents is to be commended. On Saturday, we had a wonderful morning in Decatur at a local church and then participated in a family BBQ and forum hosted by the Macoupin County Republican Party. In every county organization across the district, we see energy and enthusiasm as we approach this critical election year.   Fellow Patriot, She did it. We did it. Iowa State Senator Joni Ernst won the Republican nomination for U.S. Senate. In a crowded primary of five candidates, Joni won over 55% of the vote. It's an astounding number considering most polls had her around 35% - the threshold to avoid a convention. Joni was ShePAC's first endorsement of 2014 - when most polls had her in the single digits and no one was talking about her campaign. Iowa was also the site for ShePAC's first "Heels On, Gloves Off" rally of 2014. At that event, Joni said this about ShePAC: "With ShePAC, I have to say they were one of the first organizations that came out and endorsed my candidacy for United States Senate and that was back when the political pundits, they didn't think I was going to go very far, but look at us today!" Russ: We need to do more to help families pay their bills

Robert, Working and middle-class families in Wisconsin are worried about paying their bills. I hear this every day as I listen to voters, especially this week as I talked to new homeowners in Green Bay and Milwaukee about the challenges they face. There are very few options available for working families to help make ends meet, but one is the mortgage interest deduction. That's why it's so troubling to me that Senator Johnson considers this, a bedrock of Wisconsin's middle-class, something that could be on the table for elimination in future tax negotiations. Eliminating the mortgage interest tax deduction would be disastrous for working and middle-class families who own homes in this state, many of whom are already on the brink financially.       Our friends over at EMILY’s List are holding a “Flip the Senate” Moneybomb, robert. Democrats only need to flip five seats to win back control of the Senate.
