Jennifer: help us make history in Mississippi

I’m about to ask you to donate to help us make history in Mississippi, but first let me explain why your support is so important.
In the entire history of Mississippi, there has never been an African American woman elected to statewide office. In 56 days, we’re going to shatter that glass ceiling.
As a retired Army Colonel, I’ve served our country for more than thirty years and as the former executive director of the ACLU of Mississippi, I’ve helped lead the fight for criminal justice reform and voting rights.
Now, as the Democratic nominee for Attorney General, I’m working to build one of the largest grassroots campaigns our state has ever seen. We need to knock on every door, turn out every voter, and stop Republicans from silencing our voices – but we can’t do it without your support.
Republican and dark money groups will spend whatever it takes to defeat our campaign and stop our progress. We can’t let them get away with that. We’re funding this campaign with $5, $10, $25 at a time from grassroots donors like you. That’s why I’m asking for your help now.
We need resources to win this election, and right now we’re short of where we need to be. But we’re close, and your donation right now can get us back on track. So, I’m asking you directly, can I count on you to donate $1 right now to help us make history in Mississippi and shatter the glass ceiling in the deep south?
Together we can take on the powerful special interests and build a campaign that will reach every corner of our state. With your support, we’re going to win this race, make history and make sure our entire community is truly represented.
Thank you so much,

Jennifer Riley Collins
Democratic nominee for Attorney General of Mississippi
