Here we go again.
The U.S. Chamber of Commerce has once again reached into its deep pockets and produced another attack ad against me. Hundreds of thousands in negative T.V. began running this morning in Ohio, and the tone hasn’t changed – it’s as nasty and sleazy as the one where they distorted my picture.
But I won’t let misleading attack ads decide this election. And I know you won’t, either.
I know this isn’t the first time we’ve been attacked – after all, right-wing special interests have spent nearly $3 million so far. And you can bet it won’t be the last time.
But the way we win this campaign is by being ready – every time. And that means I need to rely on your support when we’re under attack.

Robert -- This is indefensible. This week, Governor Scott Walker signed two bills that would take millions of dollars in funding from Planned Parenthood. These bills are a clear attack on a woman's right to affordable, quality health care. Governor Walker and Senator Ron Johnson threaten the lives of women every time they take steps to defund Planned Parenthood. In fact, Senator Johnson last year supported a 20-week abortion ban and voted again to defund Planned Parenthood. These attacks on women's health are wrong. Robert -- Something big happened in the Senate this week: The Judiciary Committee voted to move forward on a bill that would make universal background checks the law for all gun sales. That's hugely important for one simple reason: If Congress goes on to pass this bill, fewer dangerous people will be able to obtain guns. Period. It should be a no-brainer. This is something that 92 percent of Americans -- and a whopping 74 percent of NRA members -- support. So let's get this done.
