Here we go again.
The U.S. Chamber of Commerce has once again reached into its deep pockets and produced another attack ad against me. Hundreds of thousands in negative T.V. began running this morning in Ohio, and the tone hasn’t changed – it’s as nasty and sleazy as the one where they distorted my picture.
But I won’t let misleading attack ads decide this election. And I know you won’t, either.
I know this isn’t the first time we’ve been attacked – after all, right-wing special interests have spent nearly $3 million so far. And you can bet it won’t be the last time.
But the way we win this campaign is by being ready – every time. And that means I need to rely on your support when we’re under attack.

    I have exciting news, Robert: On Tuesday, President Obama announced a  permanent  ban on Arctic drilling, a groundbreaking move which will protect this pristine region and its sensitive ecosystems for decades to come. You did this, Robert : This announcement is the direct result of citizen advocacy like the petition you and I and thousands of others signed to protect the Arctic Ocean from gas and oil drilling.  Together, we stood up for our planet by calling for a ban on Arctic drilling – and our efforts have paid off. There’s no doubt Donald Trump will try to undo this ban – and while the law is clearly on our side,  we must remain vigilant and ready to block any attempt at reversing President Obama’s decision. Dear Patriot, Our country is running a deficit, a very serious deficit. We are fiscally broke and there is no end in sight to curb the limitless spending in Washington. I am outraged by the waste that pollutes our government. It makes my blood boil to see money that should be spent defending our country instead being wasted. I learned a lot in school—my multiplication tables, how to structure a paragraph—but also how to raise my hand, push myself, and speak my mind. I believe every girl on the planet deserves the same kind of opportunities for an education that I’ve had, and that’s what led us to start the Girls Opportunity Alliance—to support adolescent girls' education around the world. It’s also what brought me to Vietnam this week to meet with some of the inspiring girls and leaders who are part of our incredible community.   At Cần Giuộc high school, I had a chance to spend time with young women who are determined to get an education—often against great odds. My black history was not white enough for the University of Arkansas at Fort Smith.

 It's me the President of the Black Independent Party. Robert  Gilyard.  First black man to get a law degree from the University of Arkansas at Fort Smith in 2007. The first class that graduated from the college.. I am black history in Fort Smith Arkansas. But the whites at the University of Arkansas is bringing their own form of black people to represent our city and they're supposed to be representations of black folks from our city. How can I respect my Alumni when I see the same issues that were there when I was a student. These black folks don't do nothing but go to a college. Then go home. They ignore us. But they are the white people's favorite. Now we have to listen another year and watch them applaud them people that don't give a fuk about us. Because that's how black folks are in this area.
