In the past year, LGBT Americans and allies have seen incredible progress -- from the repeal of "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" to the President's statement affirming his personal support of marriage equality.

End this Pride Month on a high note: This Wednesday, June 27th, First Lady Michelle Obama will be joining members of the LGBT community and allies for a conference call to discuss what we can do to support President Obama in this election, so he has the chance to finish what he's started.

The First Lady knows how to fire up a crowd -- even on the phone -- so this is not a call to miss.

Robert -- Hate Senate Republicans' reckless use of the filibuster? Time to do something about it. Next Tuesday -- five days from today -- the Senate will vote on seven Obama appointees the Republicans have blocked, including Richard Cordray as head of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. Dear  robert , Recently I was named to the select committee to investigate the alleged sale of fetal body parts by Planned Parenthood.  I recognize this as a great responsibility, and believe this needs to be a fair, non-partisan look into possible illegal activity conducted in the organization.   The recent horrific videos that have been released must be investigated.  We as Americans deserve to know the full truth behind what has been released.
