Robert, In North Dakota, we’re something of an economic miracle. At a time when most states are still struggling, we have the lowest unemployment rate and the fastest economic growth in the nation. I’m so proud to represent a state with some economic horsepower – but we have to make sure all our skilled and dedicated workers are getting a fair deal. It’s not enough to earn a wage if it’s not a living wage. There’s legislation in the Senate right now that would finally raise folks’ pay and lift millions of Americans out of poverty.
