Why Am I Telling You This? With Bill Clinton

Dear Robert,

On the newest episode of “Why Am I Telling You This?,” Stacey Abrams joined President Clinton for a conversation about the fight to protect and expand the right to vote; how we can repair and restore faith in democratic institutions, elections, and voting; and what we can all do to achieve real, meaningful change.

This conversation was recorded as part of the 13th annual meeting of the Clinton Global Initiative University, hosted in partnership with Howard University. This year’s class joins a network of more than 10,000 young leaders from all 50 states and 160 countries across the world who are taking action to address pressing challenges on their college campuses and in their communities. Meet seven of these students who are addressing the public health, economic, and social impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic with support from the Clinton Foundation’s COVID-19 Student Action Fund here.

And in case you missed it, Dr. Bernice A. King recently sat down with President Clinton to share lessons she learned from her father and mother, civil rights leader Coretta Scott King; how the Martin Luther King, Jr. Center for Nonviolent Social Change’s new BE LOVE campaign is a vision for how to break the chain of hatred and violence; and why the younger generation gives her hope.

Faith leaders, like Dr. King, are among the most trusted voices in our communities. This week, Religion News Service shows how the Clinton Foundation, which has been partnering with faith leaders to combat the opioid crisis, is now working with them to increase confidence in the COVID-19 vaccines.

We hope you’ll take a moment to learn more about our work and subscribe, rate, and review “Why Am I Telling You This?” on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
