Tim Waltz: I wanted Black Independents to hear it first

Black Independents, I wanted you to hear it from me first: I’m running to continue serving as Governor of Minnesota.

Here in Minnesota, we’ve cut child poverty, expanded labor rights, invested in education, made sure every student gets free breakfast and lunch at school, and so much more.

We’re putting people first — and giving folks the freedom to live their own lives the way they want to live them.

But team, everything we’re building is under attack. Donald Trump and his fellow extremists are dismantling basic services like Social Security and Medicare, leaving working families behind, and threatening our freedoms.

That’s why I’m running — because we’ve got a lot more work to do, and I’m sure as hell not going to let MAGA extremists flip this state red.

Will you stand with me and split a donation between my campaign and Adam Schiff to show that we are fired up and ready to win?

Republicans want to gut your benefits and hand out tax breaks to billionaires. They think no one will notice. And if we do, they think we won’t fight back.

We’re going to prove them wrong. But to do it, we need the resources to fight back starting right now — there’s no time to waste.

If you're with me, pitch in and split a donation between my campaign and Adam Schiff today so we can continue showing the country that there is a better way forward.

Let’s get to work.
