Through every challenge, every headline, and every attack thrown my way (of which there are many), you have stood unwaveringly with me.


I never take your support and confidence for granted.


And while the attacks on our work to uphold the values we share keep mounting, I’m motivated by your continued support and willingness to fight back alongside me. 


For the sake of our democracy. Our Constitution. Our futures. 


Donald Trump and his allies will continue to come after me, and anyone else who stands up to him. They hope that their persistent attacks will silence and intimidate others from holding his corrupt regime accountable.


But I’m not backing down. I never have, and I never will.


I’m so grateful for your support, but as these partisan attacks grow bolder, I need to know you have my back once more. Dear Robert, What if there was a magic button that could overturn  Citizens United , get the word “SuperPAC” out of our national vocabulary, and drive shady money out of our political system forever? Wouldn’t you push the heck out of that button? Me, too. But there’s no such button. Every single day since he took office in January, it seems like Donald Trump has found new ways to abuse his power and make life harder for our families. He’s illegally withheld funding that New Jerseyans rely on for child care, for health care, and for access to healthy food.     Black Independents -- When the UN Fourth World Conference on Women met in Beijing in 1995, I wanted to go. If my husband hadn't been president, I would have wanted to go as myself—a lawyer, an advocate. But I knew that if I went as the First Lady of the United States it would carry a message that would resound around the world: The United States is putting its leadership toward advancing the rights of women. When I was working on the speech, which took many weeks, I was really focused on how to break through. I wanted to push the envelope in the speech to state a simple truth: women and girls inherently have the same rights as men and boys. After I got back from the conference, I did a lot of media. We did it, friend! Over the past nine months, we worked together to build our grassroots campaign from the ground up. Our volunteers pounded the pavement to talk to voters, our staff put in long hours and late nights, and we fought for every last vote. Our grassroots donors chipped in $5 here and $10 there to make sure we had the resources to compete. And your hard work paid off, big time. I'm proud to be Pennsylvania's Democratic nominee to take on -- and beat -- Pat Toomey this November.
