Tom: We need to stand up and fight

I'm not much for small talk so I'll get right to it - 

America is surrounded by determined enemies that want to destroy our way of life. The Constitution, our liberty, all of our values are meaningless to them. ISIS, Iran, North Korea - the list is long and threats are very real. 

In order to defeat that kind of hate we need real leadership. The kind that takes guts. 

That's why I'm asking you to join me in strongly supporting John McCain for reelection to the United States Senate with an urgent contribution of $25, $50, $100, or whatever you can afford. To defeat America's enemies, we need our very best men on the job. And without John McCain in the Senate, we're simply taking it easy on terrorists and radicals. 

Robert, we can't take patriots like John McCain for granted. He's also the top target for the liberal establishment who will do anything they can to see him defeated. 

That's why I need you to join me by making an urgent contribution to help Senator John McCain today. 

America needs his leadership so we take the fight to our enemies. 

There isn't anyone in this country - especially any liberals - who can and will do more to protect America than John McCain.

Robert, Hillary Clinton gave an economic speech on Monday—where she basically promised to change little, help no one, and fix nothing if she becomes President of the United States. Instead, Hillary wants to offer you and me more of the same: more of the same lousy liberal "solutions" that have been failing the American people for the past 8 years. You know what they say: insanity is doing the same thing over and over, and expecting different results.  So I think it's safe to say that Hillary's plan to continue the failed economic policies of Barack Obama is, by that definition, insane. After 8 years of Obama, nearly 100 million Americans don't have jobs. Millions more Americans are collecting welfare from the government. And, for years, we've seen more small businesses close their doors than open them. The Revolution of Reason is on. Nothing will stop us.

Friend -- February was the best month ever for our campaign—we received donations from 34,025 different people for a total of $570,954.82!  The average donation was $16.78.  That’s incredible.  THANK YOU for making it happen.  We raised as much as many other major candidates for the month.   Aside from the raw numbers, which are staggering, here’s another reason I am excited.  I received this message hundreds of times via social media:  “You are the first political candidate I have ever donated to.”   This message is important.  It’s become a constant drumbeat.  And it means that we are poised to do great things. Jon: Let it go to waste

robert - President Obama is right: many of the same voices urging the United States to reject the deal with Iran in favor of a military approach were some of the loudest voices in favor of war with Iraq. Congress is home for recess now, and we need to make sure they hear your voice before returning to D.C. to take a vote. So far over 100,000 veterans, military family members, and VoteVets supporters have taken action on this issue - add your name to theirs today:  Tell Congress: vote for the negotiated deal that is our best chance to prevent Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon The vote can go either way at this point so every Representative and every Senator that comes out in favor of the deal is a major victory. Robert, This morning, Marcelle and I were proud to see how many Vermonters travelled all the way to Washington to participate in the Women’s March on Washington. And we were so pleased to see so many gather for a similar march in Montpelier this afternoon. It was an honor to join together with many thousands of women and men gathered to proclaim loudly that women’s rights are human rights -- and to make a strong statement a day after the inauguration of Donald Trump. By coming together today, Americans of all gender identities, races, faiths, sexual orientations, and immigration statuses sent a powerful message that we will continue fighting for women's rights, to protect our communities, and for progress on the issues that matter.
