I believe public servants should place the needs of others above partisan ideology and corporate profits.
I have never seen anything like the extremism and disdain for working Americans shown by many of President Trump's Cabinet nominees. They are determined to shutter public schools, cut Medicaid and Social Security, silence climate scientists and rip health care from tens of millions of Americans.
I’m fighting back every day in the Senate. But as I take on President Trump’s country club Cabinet, I need to hear your priorities.

Dear Robert, What if there was a magic button that could overturn  Citizens United , get the word “SuperPAC” out of our national vocabulary, and drive shady money out of our political system forever? Wouldn’t you push the heck out of that button? Me, too. But there’s no such button. All we can do is fight as hard as we can to limit the influence of big money -- and one important step we can take is passing the DISCLOSE Act, a bill that would force special interest groups to tell us who’s funding their political activities. Ben: It's Time

robert, On Monday, I will be announcing my decision of whether or not to run for President, so this will be the final email from my Exploratory Committee.   This period of time has been a learning process in regards to everything from the issues, to the concerns of my fellow citizens, to the depth of my support.   The results have been interesting, and very encouraging.   For example, a new study from Harvard’s Institute of Politics found that I am currently the top potential Republican presidential candidate among 18-to-29-year-olds.   I would hope that my optimistic message of personal empowerment is part of the reason.   In addition to this positive news,  close to 60,000 people just like you have donated to my exploratory committee since March   – an astounding number that I am deeply humbled by.
