Jason: My sleeves are rolled up,

This contest in the Show Me State might be the dark-horse contest to watch.
-- NPR, 5/2/2016
Friends,

“Dark horse.” “Sleeping giant.” The press is running out of metaphors to describe how tight this race has become.

Of course, there are more good ones. Like “photo finish”, as in how close this race could be come Election Day -- especially now that Donald Trump is at the top of the Republican ticket for president.

Or “buried in mud,” as in what Super PACs and special interests hope to do to me before November.

Or “work to the bone,” which is what we’re going to do to hit our $55,000 goal -- and every other goal we have -- in order to keep fighting and win this thing.

If we’re going to keep up our success, we cannot let a single goal go unmet. Can you chip in $5, $10 or more to get us to this $55,000 May goal?

Washington is broken. Missouri families know that. They don’t want someone in the Senate who fights for Donald Trump and his out-of-touch, extremist ideas, they want someone who will fight for them. It’s not an unreasonable request.

I am ready to go to Washington and fight for Missouri. Washington may be broken, but it’s not unfixable. All we need is the will and the vision to get things done.

We can win this race. We can bring that change to Congress. We just need to be willing to put in the work it takes now to get there.

I’m counting on you to reach this $55,000 goal and turn this “dark horse” race into a win. If you can, make a contribution right now.

My sleeves are rolled up, my nose is to the grindstone, and I’m committed to winning this race.

Thanks for helping out!

Jason
