Chuy: Rahm cut the budget

Dear robert--
Two weeks ago, we asked Chicagoans to share their stories of real life under Rahm's administration. The response was overwhelming. Dozens and dozens of people told us about difficulties they've experienced due to failed policies and wrong priorities.

Now, we are asking you to pick the story that should be made into a video. With the authors’ permission, we've selected three stories that reflect concerns common for many people:

Pick a story and chip-in $10, $20, or more, to cover the costs of making a video and promoting it widely. If a story collects $5,000, we can proceed with production. 
Debra's story:
Both of our two daughters are Special Ed kids and take buses to school. Our older daughter has severe cerebral palsy. If there is no bus aide, she is unable to ride the bus to school. Rahm cut the budget for both bus aides and classroom aides…

As a mother of a Pre-k student, it bothers me so much when I hear the commercial about Pre-k for all. In reality, it is Pre-k for those who can afford it. After filing an application for my three-year-old, I was told to pay $372/month to a third-party billing company for a Pre-K classroom in a public school. How is that Pre-k for all...?
