This afternoon, I'm casting my ballot in my hometown of Chicago. I'm told I'll be the first sitting president to take advantage of early voting. 

And I can't wait.

I know I can count on your vote. Now, it's on all of us to make sure our friends and family step up. Reach out to folks you know in important early vote states.

Look, this race is extremely tight. It's going to come down to which side can more effectively turn out the vote in these final days, and early vote is a huge part of that.

Whether people get out to vote this year, in this election, is even more critical than the last time around.

So this is serious, and I'm going to need your help if we want to win.

I’ll be straight with you, robert. The most important race happening in 2020 isn’t the race for president – it’s the race for control of the Senate. The party that wins the Senate will decide the future of health care, voting rights, even the Supreme Court.  And everyone from FiveThirtyEight to Roll Call is now saying that Democrats  cannot regain the Senate majority if we lose in New Hampshire. That’s why Republicans are coming after me in a big way – with GOP groups spending more money to defeat me than all the other in-cycle Democratic senators  combined . Now, after Mitch McConnell’s right-wing group just launched their first round of attack ads against us, we’ve got to raise another $7,000 before midnight tonight to fight back and protect our chance to take back the Senate. Dear Robert, What if there was a magic button that could overturn  Citizens United , get the word “SuperPAC” out of our national vocabulary, and drive shady money out of our political system forever? Wouldn’t you push the heck out of that button? Me, too. But there’s no such button. All we can do is fight as hard as we can to limit the influence of big money -- and one important step we can take is passing the DISCLOSE Act, a bill that would force special interest groups to tell us who’s funding their political activities. Chabot College is a rambling series of academic buildings situated on 94 acres in Hayward, California. It offers more than 100 associate degrees and certificates, an intercollegiate national championship-winning ultimate disc team, and parking for a couple thousand cars. It's also my alma mater. Chabot's a community college -- and in the early 1970s, it was all free, save for the effort you put into it and the price of used textbooks. As a student there, I went to school alongside Vietnam vets, moms, and middle-aged men, as well as a few thousand young people like me who needed time to sort out our lives and our options. We were looking to get our general education requirements out of the way, to learn skill sets to improve our employment prospects, or to discover the road to new, unimagined careers. Dozens and dozens of people told us about difficulties they've experienced due to failed policies and wrong priorities. Now, we are asking you to pick the story that should be made into a video. With the authors’ permission, we've selected three stories that reflect concerns common for many people: Pick a story and chip-in $10, $20, or more, to cover the costs of making a video and promoting it widely.
