EMILY's List: We are so grateful for this incredible community

Dear robert, When we say every dollar you give makes a difference, we mean it. Your support is helping us do big things: training women candidates, polling key independent women voters, and of course the bread and butter: electing more pro-choice Democratic women. We are so grateful for this incredible community-- all of you who step up again and again to make change in our country. Just take a look at what your contributions did in June: In New Mexico's 1st District, thousands of EMILY's List donors helped health care advocate Michelle Lujan Grisham pull off an incredible primary win in a very tough race. The direct contributions to Michelle's campaign, from donors like you across the country, helped Michelle stay up on the air and get her message out to voters. With one victory under her belt, Michelle's ready to lead the way to taking back the House in November. In New York's 6th District, WOMEN VOTE! ran a groundbreaking program, motivating young women Democratic voters to cast their ballots for Grace Meng, who would be the first Asian American in the state to be elected to Congress. WOMEN VOTE! used direct mail, along with a website and targeted online advertising to highlight Grace's impressive record on tax fairness, pay equity, and women's health. By Election Day, the ads had been served to 25,000 targeted women voters more than a million times. These key votes helped send Grace to a big win in last month's primary. We released the first set of our extensive research on independent women voters, voters who will be key to Democratic victories in November. One key finding: we asked which qualities these women seek in their Congressional Representatives. The descriptions they provided line up with the Democratic women running for office this year: "collaborative," "listeners," "humanitarians," "show our children it's not just a man's world," "relatable."  In Washington, D.C., our Political Opportunity Program (POP) held its 37th and final training of the year. We're incredibly proud to have trained over 1,300 pro-choice, Democratic women to run for office this cycle, all ready to protect our rights against Republican attacks. We can't think of a better place to finish the year than the nation's capital, whose women are constantly under Republican attack. I hope you're proud of all the work we've done together -- and this is just the beginning! We still have a long way to go, and we still need you with us every step of the way.
