Look, I'll keep this short. I started VoteVets more than a decade ago after returning from Iraq because I believe the voices of progressive veterans don't always get the representation we deserve in Congress.

Mary: Arkansans are frustrated with the news that comes out of Washington

Friend, When Conner was a federal prosecutor, he saw some awful things -- terrible crimes that people commit, especially against children. But not once did I hear him say he wanted to walk away from the tough cases.  If anything, I only saw more of a resolve to make sure that these cases were handled appropriately and that justice was served.  He made a pledge to carry out his job, and he was going to do it, no matter how difficult the circumstances. When "Celebrity Apprentice" returns to NBC in 2017, Donald Trump will still be executive producer of the show. This is an unprecedented moment, where  one of the largest media conglomerates in the world, Comcast/NBCUniversal, for all intents and purposes, will have a contractual arrangement with the president of the United States.  It creates a clear conflict of interest that undermines the credibility of NBC News, MSNBC and CNBC and makes it impossible to trust that any reporting on Trump has not been impacted by this business entanglement.
