The ad we ran yesterday was nothing short of a complete success. Not only did Donald Trump likely see it while watching Morning Joe (he tweeted right after the commercial break it aired in), but it was viewed by more than 1 million people online.
We told you we had something good up our sleeve, and this success was only possible because of the thousands of supporters who chipped in to make it happen.
But here’s another promise for you: we. won’t. stop. We are going to continue to elevate the voices of veterans and military family members harmed by Donald Trump’s policies. Sometimes we’ll do it in huge, seven-figure ad buys. And sometimes we’ll be creative. But we can’t do it alone.
Like General (ret.) Wesley Clark says, “there isn't a more decisive political organization out there [than VoteVets] once they get involved in a race.” But the truth is, the strength of our organization and anything we accomplish is because of the veterans, military family members and supporters like you. That’s why your contribution is so dang important.

Since taking office, Laura's number one priority has been to expand Medicaid across the state so hard working Kansans can have access to affordable healthcare. Donald Trump keeps putting himself first and America last. Even as cases of COVID-19 skyrocket in states across the country, this president continues to host in-person fundraisers to pad his reelection war chest and fund dishonest ads -- including planning to return back to Florida, which is currently battling a sharp increase in cases -- at the end of the month. It’s irresponsible and reckless that Trump is ignoring public health experts and carrying on with his in-person fundraising events, but it's clear there's no level he won't sink to in an attempt to stop Democrats from chipping away at the RNC's cash-on-hand advantage.  First Of, I would like to thank all the people of different races that help us celebrate our freedom because my own people will not celebrate it in fear of upsetting whites and their feelings. Juneteenth means more to me than it does most of the people of my race because I know the historical background of it. My ancestors were the first victims of police brutality. I have been harrassed by police officers who have told me "They love getting Nggers like me." I have been arrested falsely several times and police have physically attacked me. There have been time where they have attempted to beat me to the ground. I stood my ground and never resisted. I always took my beating like a strong Black man while I watch others cry about police officers that talk to them the wrong way. I am not better, I am stronger. They fear that attribute about me. Jon Carson: fewer dangerous people will be able to obtain guns. Period.

Robert -- Something big happened in the Senate this week: The Judiciary Committee voted to move forward on a bill that would make universal background checks the law for all gun sales. That's hugely important for one simple reason: If Congress goes on to pass this bill, fewer dangerous people will be able to obtain guns. Period. It should be a no-brainer. This is something that 92 percent of Americans -- and a whopping 74 percent of NRA members -- support. So let's get this done.
