For the first time in thirty-six years, the United States has refused to protect Israel’s borders.

On December 23, 2016, in a blatant and dishonoring move and under the cover of the holiday weekend, the United Nations Security Council voted unanimously to pass U.N. Resolution 2334 which condemns Israel for its settlement growth in Eastern Jerusalem.

Israeli-Palestinian settlements have not been a part of any U.N. resolutions since 1980 – until now and with the help of the Obama administration.

But that’s exactly what my opponent, Congressman Tom Cotton, and his reckless colleagues are out to do. The only farm bill they’ll pass cuts $40 billion from food assistance, forcing groups like children, active-duty service members and even veterans who’ve bravely served this nation to go hungry. As one Arkansas official at a food pantry put it, this “just can’t happen.” The cuts are cruel and senseless. We’ve got to speak out now and stop Rep. Robert L., That’s how long we’ve been waiting for a real transportation bill. Congress has passed 33 short-term extensions of federal highway and transit funding over the past six years. That’s inexcusable. With federal transportation funding set to run out in a matter of days, the House and Senate are nowhere close to agreement on how to end the gridlock, putting us right back in the same position we were in barely two months ago. Tweet at Senate Majority Leader McConnell and House Speaker Boehner and tell them we’re tired of waiting. We need long-term transportation investments that will create jobs and economic growth now. As long as we’re on the brink of bankrupting the Highway Trust Fund every six months or so, we’re missing out on long-term investments that would create good, family-sustaining jobs, reduce traffic jams that worsen air pollution, and ensure a strong economy for our communities and families. Colleen: a grand jury has indicted two of the videos’ creators.

Friend, Republicans can’t resist putting women’s private medical decisions front-and-center in our national discourse. So when they saw a deceptively edited Planned Parenthood video last September, we all could have predicted what would happen. Republicans used those videos to justify attempts to withhold Planned Parenthood’s funding and tie up budget talks.  They almost brought our government to a screeching halt. Now, after clearing Planned Parenthood of any wrongdoing,  a grand jury has indicted two of the videos’ creators. They’re facing misdemeanor and felony charges. I’m fighting to get to Congress to protect women’s access to healthcare against extremists who will stop at nothing to take it away. Can you help me get there by giving $5 or $10? Dear Friend, I’m just back from the Green Party Annual National Meeting in Newark, NJ, where I endorsed powerhouse Seth Kaper-Dale in his run for Governor.  As one of only two governor races this year, Seth's run in  2017’s biggest election  is a breakthrough moment for Greens everywhere.  The “Sopranos” state’s 2-party mafia is strong-arming Seth into raising $430,000 by August 31st in order to get in to the debates and to receive matching funds. That’s more than four times the $100,000 I had to raise to qualify for federal matching funds in my run for president!
