Stephanie: the boys' political games

Robert,
I know it doesn't seem like much gets done in Washington these days.

But when it does, you can usually thank the women of the Senate. Like Senator Amy Klobuchar said:

“During a time when Congress is synonymous with gridlock and obstructionism, the women are showing we can move past the partisanship, roll up our sleeves and get things done.”

If even one Democratic woman loses her Senate seat this year, it becomes so much tougher to keep fighting for women and families in Washington.

EMILY's List needs your help -- and the help of 17 more people in Indiana right now -- to help women like Senators Jeanne Shaheen and Kay Hagan win in November. Make a $5 contribution to EMILY's List by midnight tomorrow night.

We're not in Washington to play the boys' political games -- we're here to work. Thanks for making that possible.

Thanks,

Stephanie
