We asked. You took action. Our Emergency Media Campaign – deadline tonight – so far has raised $170,000 to hold the “Hell No” Caucus’ feet to the fire.

But Karl Rove has responded. Since our campaign launch, his shady outside group has doubled down, buying lie-packed ads in nine more states to try to blame Democrats for the economic havoc Republicans caused.

Well we’ve got a message for you, Karl: Republicans created this mess. And their politically motivated actions today are making things worse. We will NOT let you use this mess to your political advantage, so you can further enrich your billionaire friends.

The Emergency Media Campaign will be used to fight back as hard as possible, but we need $30,000 by midnight to get it off the ground. Can you kick in $5 to help fight back?

The Republican wrecking crew wants to end Medicare. Cut Social Security. For far too long, Republicans have coddled corporations and boosted billionaires on the backs of everyone else. That time is OVER. We will not let them get away with it any longer, and this campaign will help the fight.

If we’re going to win, quietly stating our objections simply won’t work. We have to be loud. Take-no-prisoners tough. We’ve got to be just as hard-hitting as they are, and we all know how hard Karl Rove hits.
