Republican-funded foreign policy hawks spent nearly $2 million to defeat Nina Turner. Just look at the spending against Nina here:

Black Independent Party, we’ve won some incredible primaries with less money than our opponents had. We did it with Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Cori Bush, and Jamaal Bowman. But it’s extremely rare to get outspent and win. Especially when outside groups, so desperate to maintain the status quo, add their millions to negative ads smearing our progressive candidates.
