Stephanie: the largest resource for women in politics.

If you haven’t heard from me before, Robert, I’m the president of EMILY’s List and it’s my job to ensure that our three million members and the resources of our organization are used most effectively to WIN campaigns and help change the face of power.
EMILY’s List is the largest resource for women in politics. For 30 years, we’ve been electing progressive women up and down the ballot -- all across the country. We don’t just do it because we want a representative government (although that’s a pretty great reason!) -- we do it because we get better policy when more perspectives are heard at the decision-making table.
Like, say, the perspective of a Latina who put herself through college working minimum wage jobs, helped her family rebuild after Hurricane Andrew, and became a fighter for Florida women and families.
That’s why I’m so excited that EMILY’s List is endorsing and recommending that our members support Annette Taddeo in her campaign to represent South Florida in Congress.
Join EMILY's List in supporting Annette Taddeo
We’ve been watching Annette for some time and know that there is no one better than her when it comes to fighting for the voices of working families and standing up to the GOP’s attempts to roll back the clock on women’s health.
Make no mistake: this is going to be a tough race. Florida is shaping up to be at the center of a lot of national fights and we’ve seen the Republican maps. The National Republican Congressional Committee -- John Boehner’s campaign arm -- wasted no time in naming Annette’s race amongst their highest priorities.
And why is that? Because they know that with your support, with the backing of EMILY’s List, and with her grassroots momentum, Annette can WIN this seat back for the people of South Florida.
EMILY’s List has built 30 years of political wins through grassroots donations and hardworking campaigns. You can be a part of the next 30 years.
It starts here and now with supporting Annette and changing the face of power in South Florida: Let’s win this thing,
Stephanie
