Just wanted to take a moment to thank you for joining our team.

The career politicians have a big head start. But with your help, we are quickly building the resources and momentum necessary to get on the main debate stage at the Reagan Library in September.
Since the first debate, just one week ago, our campaign has gained incredible traction. It’s truly because of the support of Americans like you that we’ve been able to do so much in such a short period of time. Just look at some of the polling that has come out in the last week:
  • We’ve skyrocketed to 4th place nationwide--tied with Scott Walker, and just 1 point behind Jeb Bush and Marco Rubio.
  • Two more polls put us in 4th place in Iowa.
  • 2nd place in Nevada.
  • 5th place in New Hampshire.
  • 2nd place in Michigan.
We don’t say it enough, but from the bottom of my heart, thank you again for your support. And thank you again for standing with my campaign.

      Our friends over at EMILY’s List are holding a “Flip the Senate” Moneybomb, robert. Democrats only need to flip five seats to win back control of the Senate. EMILY’s List is supporting nine fantastic pro-choice women in senate races this year -- six in seats that we can flip, and three in seats we need to hold. These could be the candidates who take back the Senate for Democrats.  And today we have a chance to help them. BREAKING NEWS: Senate Republicans are pushing the Blunt Amendment, a radical piece of legislation that would cannibalize health care reform by letting any employer deny any part of your heath care coverage due to “moral convictions.” Robert, this goes way beyond taking away birth control coverage. An employer could decide that they couldn’t shell out the money necessary for your expensive cancer treatment because of their "moral convictions," and you’d be out of luck. Their goal isn’t just to end contraception coverage. Their goal is to implode our entire health care system and strike a deadly blow to President Obama’s historic health care reform. Robert, I first met Russ Feingold in the 1990s, back when I was teaching in law school. The big banks and credit card companies were trying to peddle a terrible bankruptcy bill in the Senate, and I was looking for help to stop it. It's not always easy to find people willing to stand up to big financial companies in Washington. Looking back, I imagine Russ probably could have used the hefty campaign contributions he would have gotten from the banking industry if he had ignored my calls. But that didn't matter to Russ. Even when the odds were against us, Russ joined the fight to stop that terrible bill -- and he didn't just passively sign on; he threw himself into the fight with energy and enthusiasm. Onward Together was formed as a way to support and connect the groups that are doing the work that absolutely needs to be done right now -- from mobilizing voters to encouraging and training new activists to recruiting people who are ready to run for office themselves.
