I know how President Obama feels right now because I've been there.

These final 20 days will be the toughest of the whole campaign. We'll win this, but only if we go after every single vote.

Right now, Barack needs everyone who believes in him to step up. If you do, that will see him through.

Midnight tonight is the last FEC fundraising deadline of this campaign, and then all of our planning and building comes down to just one last test on November 6th.

All of my thoughts and prayers are with the families and friends of the victims during this unimaginable tragedy, and with our first responders who are heroically risking their lives to save the missing and reconnect loved ones.    In these difficult times it is important that we pull together as a community, to support those who are in need. Dear friend, Yesterday, I visited Jackson Park, the future home of the Obama Presidential Center, and surprised some of the Center’s future neighbors.  Take a look. We can’t wait to bring this Center to the South Side. For Michelle and me, this project is about more than building a gathering space and museum—it’s an opportunity to bring jobs, investment, and economic opportunity to a neighborhood that’s given us so much.  But we also know that to be successful, this project needs to not just be for the community, it must be built in partnership with the community.    That’s why, this week, I spent time with local business owners at South Shore Brew coffee shop and got to hear from them directly about their hopes for the Center.  I also stopped by the Wolfpack youth football team’s practice and talked to some of the kids who use Jackson Park every day.   Black Independent Party, it seems like House Democrats are fighting harder to protect themselves from the basic tenets of democracy than they are to defeating Republicans. It’s ridiculous.. The 4th most powerful Democrat in the House, Hakeem Jeffries, and one of the most conservative Democrats in Congress, Josh Gottheimer, have launched “Team Blue PAC” — a PAC specifically designed to spend big money against progressive primary challengers like Justice Democrats. Jeffries and Gottheimer claim they are doing this on behalf of Democratic Party leadership. Wall Street, war hawks, Big Pharma, and Big Oil are spending resources to stop the next Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Cori Bush, Ilhan Omar, and Rashida Tlaib from getting to Congress. IJ scores a restraining order against an $85 million government cash grab

  IJ won an early and important victory for property owners this week when a California federal judge issued a difficult to obtain temporary restraining order preventing the government’s   shameless theft   of our clients’ life savings.   Please   join IJ with a donation today   and help us challenge—and end—even more outrageous abuses of government power. The government’s cash grab started in March. The FBI raided the Beverly Hills company U.S. Private Vaults, where property owners from across southern California store their cash, jewelry, and other valuables in safe deposit boxes.
