Dressed in t-shirts, shorts, and boots (aka, without protective gear), those service members did their job. Now, about 40 years later, many of those brave men and women face serious health problems. Cancer rates among these veterans is around 35 percent. And for some reason, they cannot get the compensation they have earned. Congress needs to step up.
